Carwash Conditions of Entry

By purchasing or redeeming wash at Hang 5 Carwash, you acknowledge and agree to the following Conditions of Entry:

Our wash process is designed to be safe and effective; however, Hang 5 Carwash is not responsible for any loss, damage, or issues arising from:

• Vehicles outside factory warranty.
• Vehicle parts and accessories such as antennas, mirrors, wipers, glass, sun visors, roof racks, spoilers, plastic trims, moldings, decorative badges, and license plates or covers.
• Glass, plastics, and fragile components including windscreens, headlights, tail lights, and aftermarket tinting.
• Aftermarket modifications such as wraps, graphics, body kits, valve stems, non-factory parts, or accessories not securely installed.
• Pre-existing or underlying damage, including rust, weakened paint, dents, scratches, or adhesive failure.
• Unsecured, taped, or poorly installed items (including bumper protectors, magnetic signs, or car covers).
• Items dislodged by dryers/blowers, including moldings, emblems, wheel trims, or accessories.
• Open tray beds or vehicles carrying debris. Tray beds must be clean, empty, and free from loose material and ropes or straps.
• Mechanical failure of your vehicle (including battery, electronics, ignition, or aftermarket systems) that occurs during or after the wash.

Failure to Follow Instructions
Hang 5 Carwash is not responsible for any damage or incidents caused by failing to follow posted instructions, safety signage, or staff directions. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Not fully closing windows, sunroofs, or convertible tops.
• Not keeping the vehicle in neutral, with all brakes off (including handbrakes and electronic parking brakes), and hands off the steering wheel while inside the tunnel.
• Not exiting the tunnel immediately once the wash is complete or upon instruction signage, causing obstruction or collision with vehicles in front or behind.
• Not retracting or removing antennas or not folding in mirrors when required.
• Failing to follow entry alignment guides or causing a collision with another vehicle or wash equipment.
• Ignoring safety signage, pay station prompts, or instructions given by staff.
• Not remaining attentive inside your vehicle, including using a mobile device during the wash process, which may cause distraction or accidents.

Vehicle Size Restrictions

• Vehicles lower than 120mm ground clearance cannot be washed.
• Vehicles higher than 2100mm in overall height cannot be washed.

Customer Responsibility

• Ensure all windows, sunroofs, and convertible tops are fully closed.
• Retract or remove antennas before entry.
• Fold in mirrors for added protection.
• Confirm your vehicle is mechanically sound and free from loose parts or debris.
• Disclose unusual modifications, accessories, or vehicle conditions to staff before entry.

Waiver of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Hang 5 Carwash shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from use of our facilities.
• By entering, you waive any right to pursue litigation against Hang 5 Carwash. Any dispute must first be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Queensland, Australia.

Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a wash (single or membership), entering the wash tunnel, or using our facilities, you accept and agree to these Conditions of Entry in full.
